The Public Lands Photography Project’s mission is to grow public awareness and support for the protection and management of public wild places everywhere, via the medium used by Ansel Adams... photography.

Our projects include creating fine art photography of beautiful public lands, and helping everyday people learn how to make their own photographs, whether with their cell phones or more sophisticated cameras, and how to share those photos with the world.

By sharing the beauty of public lands through the art of photography, more and more people will appreciate why protecting these places is so important for all of us.
